Nabeel Joins APRE’s Curatorial Programme in India

Nabeel Gasim has been selected to take part in APRE Art House’s Curatorial Intensive 2025 in Mumbai.

Held from 17 - 22 November, the 6-day programme brings together emerging curators, researcher, and writers from across the region for mentorship, studio visits, critical writing sessions, and collaborative curatorial exercises.

Nabeel will be learning directly from leading curators and academics from South Asia, the USA, and Europe as part of Front Matter - APRE’s annual curatorial course.

The past 2 years, Nabeel has been with Gallery 350 as assistant curator, fine-tuning exhibitions and working closely with artists and art enthusiasts. Besides the visual arts, Nabeel has a keen interest in music, organising a few shows around Malé in the last couple of years.

He has played an important role in our exhibitions and programmes through Fine Art Maldives, bringing fresh perspective and dedication to all his projects and continues to contribute to expanding and enhancing the art scene of Maldives.
